Saturday, October 28 11:00 am Ecological Reserve Volunteer Day Meet by the old firehouse on Martin Road.  We will continue doing trail maintenance on the Outer Loop Trail.  Please bring hiking shoes, water, snack, and loppers for trimming back the shrubs growing along the trail. 3:00 to 5:00pm: Kids Trick or Treat downtown on Pacific Avenue: If you haven't been in Santa Cruz for Halloween you are so missing something.  It's my favorite day there.  Do wear a costume.  Most shops offer trick or treats for children from 3 to 5 pm. 6:00pm: Halloween adults and teens downtown on Pacific Avenue: It definitely gets scarier after dark.  Watch out for goblins of all shapes and sizes!
