Found Cat
A cat was found in the Country Estates area of Bonny Doon. It is beige and white with a touch of orange in the
ears and tail. It appears to be a young cat as an older one would not have survived it's two to three month
ordeal. It is medium size and really friendly. Loves to be petted and held. It is currently residing
at the Scotts Valley Animal control office.

1:00 pm: The Bonny Doon Gardeners
We will take a field trip to the Cabrillo College Horticulture Department and tour their beautiful gardens. Cabrillo
has done extensive study of salvias and this is the time of year to add new ones to your garden. We are schedule to
tour at 2:00 pm so we must leave by 1:00 pm. Parking is limited so carpooling is necessary. Meet in the Bonny Doon
School upper parking lot to arrange carpooling. We should return around 4:30 to 5:00 pm. If you have questions contact
Marilyn Norberg at 426-1032.
Gardeners September Meeting: Nancy Andreason and Lise Bixler gave an interesting and thought provoking presentation on
how our creative style appears in the gardens we develop. It was the comparison of how two creative gardeners think
about plants and their arrangement – a right or left-brain style. What contrasts there have been from the beginning
until now. How they have responded when Nature did the unexpected. What gives them satisfaction in all stages of their
garden's development. It stimulated our thinking about how our gardens relate to our creative style.
