Higher Grounds Coffee House
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
We envision providing a public meeting place for the Bonny Doon community to gather for coffee, tea,
and home baked goods.
SPECIAL EVENT ON OCTOBER 28 AT 10 AM
Local Author Nancy Lynn Jarvis reads from her latest book, Buying Murder. The book begins with the
Martin Road fire and the Lockheed fire and quickly turns to murder and mystery.

FOUND: Bearded Dragon
This morning my son came to visit and found an 18 inch long Bearded Dragon sunning itself on our
driveway.
A Bearded Dragon is a lizard native to Australia that many keep as pets.

In his guise as "Old Rancere," Ivano will re-create (with stories and songs) historical events as they might
have occurred on the North Coast of Santa Cruz (1923 - 1983). Come join us for a fun afternoon of food,
music, and "tall tales of old."

month at all 1100 Bonny Doon households, this is the best way to advertise in Bonny Doon. Ads are due
by the 24th of the month for the next month's edition. Rates as of November 2009 are: $20 for up to 10

Memories of the Mountain The Ladies of Bonny Doon
This wonderful book is still available. A "must have" for new and old Dooner's alike. The Ladies
of Bonny Doon Club produced this book in 2004. Many Bonny Dooners contributed stories, pictures, and
editing skills.
